Monitor and integrate funding rounds into company profiles
We need to analyze websites that announce funding rounds and integrate this data into our company profiles. This will allow us to track recent fundraises, provide real-time alerts, and enrich company financial data with structured funding information. 🔹 Why? • Enables real-time insights into newly funded companies. • Helps users track startup growth and investment trends. • Improves company profiling with detailed financial event tracking. 🔹 How it works? 1. Identify key funding data sources: • Websites like Crunchbase, PitchBook, CB Insights, TechCrunch, Dealroom, and AngelList. • Public announcements, press releases, and investment databases. 2. Develop an AI-powered data extraction pipeline: • Use web scraping and AI NLP models to analyze funding news. • Extract funding amount, investors, round type (Seed, Series A, B, etc.), and date. 3. Structure and store funding data in company profiles: • Add a funding_rounds field in the JSON profile: { "funding_rounds": [ { "amount": "25M", "currency": "USD", "round": "Series A", "investors": ["Sequoia Capital", "Accel"], "date": "2024-03-10" } ] } 4. Set up real-time alerts for new funding events: • Trigger notifications via webhooks, Slack, and email. • Allow users to subscribe to funding updates for specific industries or companies. 5. Enable search and filtering by funding status: • Add API endpoints to search for companies based on funding rounds. • Allow filtering by investment amount, round type, or date. 6. Ensure data accuracy and validation: • Cross-check funding details across multiple sources before confirming. • Maintain a confidence score for each funding event to track reliability. 7. Automate periodic updates: • Implement a continuous monitoring system to detect new funding events. • Use AI to validate and refine extracted data over time.

This feature will provide detailed insights into monthly API calls, credit expenditure, and breakdowns by endpoint to help users optimize their usage. 🔹 Why? • Helps users monitor their API consumption and prevent unexpected credit depletion. • Provides clear visibility into API usage patterns. • Allows businesses to optimize their API strategy based on detailed insights. • Improves transparency and billing awareness for customers. 🔹 How it works? • Users can access their API usage stats from the settings panel. • A dedicated section in the API block displays the number of calls per endpoint and credits consumed. • Monthly reports show total API calls, credit breakdowns, and trends over time. • Users can adjust their plan or optimize their requests based on usage data.
AI-powered /:domain/ask endpoint for company insights via API
We have introduced a new API endpoint, /:domain/ask, that allows users to query detailed information about a company using AI. Users can specify which AI model to use (small or large) and define structured fields to format the response. 🔹 Why? Enables customized and detailed company insights based on user needs. Provides flexibility in response depth with AI model selection. Helps retrieve precise or comprehensive information for companies like Ubisoft. Fully documented in the API reference for easy integration. 🔹 How it works? Users call the /:domain/ask API endpoint with a domain (e.g., ubisoft.com) and their question. They specify the AI model (small for speed, large for depth). Optionally, they define fields to structure the response. The API returns an AI-generated summary with relevant company details.
AI-powered company search from a prompt
We are working on a new feature that enables users to search for companies using a natural language prompt directly from the homepage and the company dashboard. This feature automatically generates filter conditions based on the prompt to help users easily create company segments and lists. 🔹 Why? Simplifies company searches by allowing users to describe what they’re looking for instead of manually applying filters. Saves time by generating precise filtering conditions automatically. Helps users discover similar companies and access detailed company profiles effortlessly. Enhances productivity by enabling actions directly from the search field. 🔹 How it Works? Users enter a natural language prompt (e.g., "Find SaaS companies with 50-200 employees in Europe"). The system automatically applies the right filters and displays relevant results. From this search, users can take direct actions, such as: Finding similar companies. Viewing a detailed company profile. Saving the results as a segment for future reference. Available from both the homepage and the company dashboard for seamless access.
Purchase additional credits on top of subscription
Currently, users with a subscription receive a set amount of credits per month. This feature will allow subscribers to purchase additional credits as a one-time purchase without modifying their existing subscription. 🔹 Why? Provides more flexibility for users who need extra credits. Prevents users from having to upgrade their entire subscription for occasional additional usage. Enhances the overall user experience by offering more control over credit consumption. 🔹 How it Works? Users can buy additional credits directly from their account dashboard. Purchased credits will be available immediately and can be used alongside their subscription credits. Clear pricing and transparency to ensure a seamless experience.
